Oxford joins other companies from around Talbot County for a Live Burn Training event

Several members of the company joined the Live Burn event that was hosted by Station 40 in St Michaels.

Fire destroys Easton Restaurant
May 14 2016
Oxford Fire Company joined Easton Volunteer Fire Company and six other volunteer fire companies to battle a two alarm fire at the Bob Evans Restaurant on Ocean Gateway in the early morning hours of May 14th. The fire began after the restaurant was closed for the evening and the staff had left. The restaurant was completly destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland Fire Marshall.
Talbot Council says Thank You to County FirefightersNovember 24, 2015
The Talbot County Council presented representatives of the seven Talbot County fire departments each with a check at tonight's meeting. These checks are 2014 stipends for each active member of these companies. The Council members were joined by representatives from the Town of St Michaels which contributed to the County Stipend Fund. Tim Kerns, Vice President of the Oxford Fire Company accepted the check for OVFD.
